Their mobile grow-rack system has been developed for cannabis production in the US, but this innovative vertical racking system also offers great potential production opportunities for UK horticultural operations, working with other crops.
Pipp’s mobile grow racks allow cultivators to maximize space in cultivation production and post-harvest processing facilities. Implementing Pipp’s mobile racks will increase production by maximizing cubic canopy footprint without increasing the square footprint of the room or building. Pipp’s mobile vertical grow racks can be built up to 56’ long and 23’ high (larger systems require engineering approval). They are constructed form high-strength steel and offer quick and easy assembly. The racking is extremely robust, with beams that can support 975 kg, and uprights that can carry over 7700 kg. They are finished in a white powder coat which is UV-stable, and contains anti-microbial and fungal-resistant additives.
Vertical farming maximizes production capability, reduces operating costs, and increases overall revenue per square foot by as much as 3 times.
